Vandana Sreekumar

I competed 2019-2023 in Program Oral Interpretation. During my time, I not only learned the power of speech, but I was able to make so many new friends and meaningful connections that I still have to this day.

Even though I am a math major now, I still use many of the skills speech and debate has taught me when presenting or talking to others. I also started a club at UF that supports writers in STEM and I could say with certainty that my experience doing POI definitely helped contribute to my passion for prose and poetry.

I would highly recommend PBHS speech and debate to anyone who is even remotely interested, you will not regret it!!
